How did “Shadow Films” originate? What inspirations did you draw on?
I like films. Sometimes, when I watch a film I try and figure out what the extras are saying in the background. It’s usually with films I’ve seen before. I’ve worked as an extra before so I know it’s mostly nothing, but once you start thinking about this, it takes you places.
Where are you in this story?
Nowhere. Or everywhere. It’s that kind of story.
What led you into writing genre fiction?
I like weird things, but I don’t really stress the genre side of things. Most likely I ended up here by accident. There’s probably a petition being circulated to throw me out, or something.
What trends in speculative fiction would you like to see gain popularity in the next few years?
I’m honestly not too bothered about trends. All I really want is good books to be published.
What are you working on lately? Where else can fans look for your work?
I’m writing a new novel. I’m waiting for my hearing to return. I’m writing a new short story. Who knows how those things will go. Also, I have a new book coming out called The Red Labyrinth. Please buy it because no one else will.
